I can pretend to be all cool and say I knew about these guys back in the day. I was 16 when this came out. Sure I was into a bunch of stuff in the same wave, but Slint completely passed my by. Both offerings from 1989 and 1991 are shockingly good and stand the test of time. In fact I found them due to comparisons between Mogwai and Slint.
